Blake A. Bergey is a member of Iota Pledge class of the Eta Alpha Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi. He is a life member of Kappa Kappa Psi and has been a Brother for 43 years. Blake was born in Red Hill, PA and graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School. He received his undergraduate degree from Lock Haven University in Computer Science, and holds graduate certificates in Geographic Information Systems and Educational Technology Integration from Penn State University. Blake is currently employed at Penn State University as the Manager of Learning Space Technologies.

 

 

While attending Lock Haven University, Blake was a member of the marching band and served as the percussion section leader and drum major. He also participated in the symphonic band, jazz band, and percussion ensemble. Blake has been a percussion director, instructor, and arranger for more than 40 years, and has taught award-winning units at Lock Haven High School, Central Mountain High School, Jersey Shore High School, Lock Haven University, and many others. He is currently the percussion arranger and instructor at Upper Perkiomen High School and judges marching band and percussion competitions for

the National Judges Association.

 

 

Blake lives in Rote, PA with his wife Jonie and daughter Abby.
